  • hm. well not much up here. i leave a week from yesterday for the US. i am really happy. i miss my family so much. and i miss english. but i am also happy because i know i am coming back. i love germany.

    i hope to see all of you when i am back!!!!!!!

  • so yeah!

    last night was "Tanz in Mai" which translates as Dance in May, but it is really like how we say ring in the new year. so we went ove to the Weser Terrasse. first we were lost. i got hit in head by some turkish loser. we found everyone after like 30 minutes. there were so many people there. it was crazy. i got to see my twinnies. Juila and Svenja. the lovely brown haired Annika. my new friend Carla who had been in Wisconson last year. Nilsie boy. My lieblings kind Ann-Katrine. oh and that stupid bitch Tigle (whose name i can not spell, but i so wished she would have done us favor and jumped in the river). and more people that i so can't remember right now. i got so drunk. it was bad. i had to ride my bike home uhm, yeah i made it but not very well. i don't have much of a hang over. i even woke up at 10:00, but i laid there till about 11:45. maik is still asleep and it is 1:15. i think i will have lunch now. see ya'll soon!!!

  • wow it was awful to try and fly back. so many problems here it is in short:

    • plane coming to little rock for us was struck by lighting.
    • flight to charlotte canceled
    • had to fly to denver
    • had to to deal with incompetent people in little rock who don't understand that we have an international flight to catch
    • had to have the whole nine yards search WHILE trying to keep desi calm
    • maik and his mom also had to be searched
    • crappy flight to denver
    • I HATE THE DENVER AIRPORT
    • put on standby by lufthansa along with 6 other people trying to get to frankfort (who had the same problem as we did with charlotte)
    • luggage checked all the way to frankfort from little rock
    • got on the flight, no one was near each other.
    • i was by a rude couple and a really annoying guy in front of us. (maik did end up getting to sit by us)
    • fueling problems with the plane to frankfort, left two hours late
    • couldn't find a luggage in frankfort
    • stroller was sent on to bremen and we didn't even get a chance to claim it in frankfort
    • we missed our flight to bremen.
    • had to wait and get researched once we got another flight

    so the only good things were they put me in a seat with a big space in from and desi ended up sleeping on the floor there for five hours. the flight to frankfort was only 8 hours instead of 10 or more. the lufthansa people had had dinner and breakfast for desi, even though he wasn't suppposed to be on the flight. LUFTHANSA HAS THE BEST FOOD!!!!!!

    see for those of you who don't know about the last two. on the way over this time we didn't "pre-order" baby food for desi even though he had a lap child ticket (10% of my ticktes price, not free) and he was so hungry so the attendent gave him a real meal a then took it back because "i don't know it there will be enough for everyone. i will bring one back it there is extra" this was right after she finshed annoucing that it was a full flight. cause you know someone didn't show up, desi had his own seat. i was so mad. and there food was awful!!!!!
